Ordering Textbooks

Ordering textbooks from the Salish Kootenai College virtual bookstore is a simple and convenient process. To get started, visit the SKC website at www.skc.edu and navigate to the "On Campus" section where you'll find the "Bookstore" option. Click on it to access the virtual bookstore.

Once you're on the virtual bookstore page, create an account by providing your name and email address. It's recommended to use your student email for seamless integration with your courses. After logging in, you'll be directed to your bookstore account's homepage.

From there, click on "Order Your Materials" to begin the textbook ordering process. Select the current quarter and choose the department for each of your classes. Pay attention to the class list and select the appropriate section based on your schedule. Clicking on "View Your Materials" will display the required books for each class.

Take your time to review the options available for each book, considering factors such as price and format. Once you've made your decisions, simply add the desired books to your cart. It's worth noting any features like guaranteed buyback for potential cost savings.

When you're ready to complete your order, proceed to the checkout. Review the items in your cart, including their format and cost. Choose whether you'd like the books to be delivered to the school address or enter your own address. Provide your billing address, select a shipping method, and choose a payment option that works for you.

After submitting your order, it will appear in the order area of your account. Physical book orders usually arrive within 7-10 days, so it's advisable to place your order early to ensure you have your materials before classes start. If you've purchased any digital content, you can access it from the "Your Digital Content" section on your account homepage.
