Filling out the FAFSA
Once a student submits the FAFSA application online. SKC will receive the application within 3-5 business days. A student will receive an email notification when the application is ready to start the process of review. Each student will need to complete the required forms and submit the required supporting documentation before a review is completed. Once all required documentation is submitted and assessed an award letter is generated. The award letter will detail a student's cost of attendance and financial aid eligibility in the form of federal student aid (Pell Grant, work-study, and direct loans). Please note SKC only generates the Pell Grant at the beginning of the quarter and there is an additional process for the work study and direct loan programs. For more information please contact the following:
SKC's FAFSA CODE: 015023
