Our department can be described as one big family, as we all have one goal to improve our lives physically and mentally. Our staff’s ability to share a similar goal has led to a welcoming environment for all and everyone who wishes to utilize our services and equipment for their enjoyment and fitness journey. Our staff is only a small part of the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center as it is a large building with numerous capabilities varying from lifting weights, cardio machines, recreational activities in the basketball gym and space for stretching and relaxing.

Our facilities can be used for various events, including basketball games, graduation ceremonies, powwows, and/or community feeds. The gymnasium can host up to 2300 visitors.

These facilities include locker rooms with showers, handicap accessible basketball court, a friendly and family atmosphere, a judge-free zone, 1000 pound club (barbell bench press, barbell squat, barbell deadlift), 2 65” 4k TV’s, 2 Stairmasters, and a Personal Trainer.

Membership and Usage

Current Students, Staff, and Faculty: The use of our facilities are free of charge for all current SKC students, staff, and faculty. They will need to show they are currently enrolled or employed with SKC.
