Rave Alert

SKC has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety, the leader in mobile safety, to offer an emergency notification system, Rave Alert, capable of sending users text, voice, and email messages.

Home » Campus Security » Rave Alert

Rave Alert is a mass notification system that enables SKC to quickly communicate emergency information to their students, faculty, and staff. The system allows campus safety officials to send alerts via multiple communication channels, including email, text message, voice message, social media, and digital signage.

In the event of an emergency, campus safety officials can use the Rave Alert system to quickly send out emergency notifications to students, faculty, and staff via the configured channels. For example, suppose there is a bear on campus. In that case, campus safety officials can text all students, staff, and faculty, alerting them to the situation and advising them to seek shelter.

Rave Alert also allows users to send non-emergency messages to targeted groups, such as class cancellations or reminders about upcoming events.

Students are automatically enrolled in Rave Alert. You can opt out of the system by texting "Stop" to 67283.
