Public health is about a lot of things—yes, exercise, hygiene, safety, and medicine, but also joy, friendship, spirituality... And beyond the Gwyneth stuff, it’s about justice, standing up for your community and your rights, deciding what’s healthy for YOU, and so much more. In these sessions, SKC students in the Human Sexuality and Health Promotion Practicum courses will show you what health promotion means to them through interactive activities that you will have the opportunity to participate in. We’ll also answer questions, chat, and talk about what this degree track can offer you, including careers in health promotion work, and public health education pathways.
