Open inclusive enrollment
Founded on the principles of our Forefathers, SKC is open to peoples of all races, colors, creeds, preferences. We all thrive in diversity!
People, not numbers
As a small college SKC strives to connect personally with every student. We believe knowing you is an important part of teaching you.
Tutition waiver for ALL
For the 2020-2021 school year SKC has reduced the cost of tuition to 50%. All students receive the waiver. No paperwork required!
Small college, abundant options
SKC offers over 70 degrees, and certificates from programs that prepare you to move on to masters degrees, to those that will get you on the road in a year. We offer degree programs that focus on careers in business, healthcare, fine arts and digital design technology, liberal arts, natural resources, education, tribal historic preservation, tribal governance and STEM fields. You can also quickly get on the right track with one of our certificate programs designed to start careers like highway construction, office professions, unmanned aerial systems, dental assisting and grant projects.
Salish Kootenai College is more than a few buildings along the highway in Pablo. Our institution sits on a 128 acre campus with 16 educational buildings, a modern theatre space, a 9 hole public golf course, and a health and fitness center.

Always leading the charge
Being a small rural college has afforded SKC the flexibility to adapt to the needs of many communities. As a result we have developed many first of their kind programs keeping us at the leading edge of Native American education.
And as we continue to rise to the challenge we are currently offering several of our courses as purely self-paced online and a majority as hybrid online. As our world continues to develop at a brake-neck pace, we will adapt as we continue to serve all of our students and communities.

Small and diverse
We are proud to be a small college in northwestern Montana. Our learning environment celebrates the diversity of the individuals that attend our school. Our size allows for a deeper connection, awareness, and appreciation for the vast number of native and non-native cultures that make up our community of learners. The level of familiarity and comfort that this connection creates affords our students a safe setting to explore their new paths.
