Dual enrollment (DE) at Salish Kootenai College is an opportunity for high school students to continue participating in their high school curriculum while also taking some key, entry-level college classes. DE affords participating students a jump start on their college career, potentially shortening the time it takes to complete their degree program and reducing the cost of their education.

Lindy is the SKC Dual Enrollment Coordinator. She is available to ensure that your experience as a dual enrollment student is positive and rewarding. As a dual enrollment student, you have an enthusiastic team behind you: your dual enrollment instructor, high school administrators, parents, and Salish Kootenai College. We all want to see you succeed...take advantage of your support group and ask questions!

Dual Enrollment(DE) allows high school students to earn college credits that may apply toward graduation at Salish Kootenai College or another college or university. Students enrolled in the DE program can progress toward their next academic goal without having to wait until high school graduation. The DE program can shorten the time required for high school students to complete an undergraduate degree. Completing college courses while still in high school can reduce the cost of post-secondary education. Dual Enrollment courses cost less than regular college tuition.
